Three substations of electrical energy supplied by, (Federal Commission of electricity), in cases of an emergencia, Acuña has emergency generates located at Lake Amistad.

The voltage that is provided to the city, in the residential and commercial area is 13,200 volts in high voltage and 220 and 127 volts in low tension.
With regards to the industrial sector, the voltage available is 34,500 volts in high voltage and inside the plant but the common ones are, 480 volts for operation motors and lighting system and 220 and 127 volts for the rest of the equipment.
